Real Estate Reactivation Conference Poznań 2024 - Behind us Real Estate Reactivation Conference Poznań 2024 - Behind us

The conference blossomed within the historic walls of the Poznań City Hall, where modernity intertwines with history, creating the perfect backdrop for discussions about the future and innovations in the real estate industry. In the heart of the city, where every corner tells a story of a rich past, participants had the opportunity to delve into high-level discussions.

The City Hall not only serves administrative functions but also acts as a center for the socio-economic life of Poznań. Decisions crucial for urban development are made here, making it an ideal place for discussions about the future of real estate.

The building, which has witnessed many important events for the city, with its accessible and representative interiors, facilitated the exchange of thoughts and ideas among conference participants. This backdrop highlighted the importance and weight of discussions on sustainable development and new technologies in the real estate industry.

Opening of the Conference

In the rays of the morning sun, we solemnly began our meeting, evoking thoughts of new opportunities and fresh ideas. We were pleased to welcome about 80 participants – experts and enthusiasts of the industry who gathered to exchange experiences and visions for the future. The opening was ceremoniously led by Natalia Weremczuk, Deputy Mayor of Poznań. Alongside her, important roles were played by Jacek Raczyński from Orange Real Estate and Patrycjusz Wyżga, a journalist and the main moderator of the conference, who together outlined the main goals and expectations for the event.

This start promised not only the development of networking but also the deepening of knowledge that will transform the spaces where we live and work.

Poznań (RE)New

A perfect prelude to Grzegorz Kamiński's presentation from the Poznań City Hall – Director of the Project Coordination and Revitalization Office, was a morning walk around the beautiful Kolegiacki Square. The place where the City Hall is located has a unique history tied to the beginnings and heyday of Poznań. The revitalized square once housed the tallest sacred building in Poland and one of the tallest in Europe. Today, you can see its remnants in glass cases.

During the presentation, we learned a fascinating story about the famous renovation of the Poznań Old Town. The modernization works became not only a technical undertaking but also an archaeological expedition uncovering layers of the city's history. Thanks to conservation work, many artifacts were discovered, from 400-year-old wooden water pipes to items from World War II.

The city representative passionately talked about the importance of these discoveries for preserving the spirit and tradition of the place, which restores the Old Town's authentic, historical character. These actions not only change its appearance but also enhance its cultural value, making it a living history lesson open to everyone.

How to Calculate Future Costs of Today's Decisions?

A panel for participants interested in the strategic aspects of financing and risk management in real estate projects was led by: Marek Zuber, financial markets analyst, and Wojciech Ławniczak from Very Human Services.

The discussion focused on how to effectively predict and manage the impact of current finances to achieve the best results in the company. Current economic challenges can be both a challenge and an opportunity. Adapting to changing market conditions and the ability to foresee future costs are crucial for maintaining profitability and competitiveness.

This panel not only provided participants with valuable insights on financial and risk management in real estate projects but also inspired the search for new, innovative solutions that can bring benefits in the future. The discussion showed that a thoughtful and considered approach to cost calculation can open new opportunities for those ready to adapt to changing market circumstances.
